BC REQUIREMENTS
- A BC Class 4 licence (Class 1 or 2 also accepted)
- At least 19 years old, with at least 2 years of non-learner driving
- An acceptable driving record
- A Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, renewed every 2 years
- A vehicle under 10 years old that passes the required mechanical inspection

- The ETA Compass team reviews your application.
- If we move forward, and only with your consent, we share it with Coastal Rides.
- Coastal Rides verifies your documents and vehicle, and manages rides, payments to drivers and its own driver agreement.

Applying does not guarantee that you will be accepted, offered rides, or earn any amount. You may not start driving until Coastal Rides confirms in writing that your licence, driving record, Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, vehicle inspection and insurance coverage have been verified. Requirements are set by the BC Passenger Transportation Board and the Province of British Columbia and may change.
